Robert has always had an interest in computers. Back in the mid to late 80's he ran a Bulletin Board for anything to do with Flight Simulation. Robert had and still have the very first Flight Simulator made for the Apple II and has every version made since then. He first started out using a basic Bulletin Board software and progressed up to one of the most popular and complex BBS systems, PCBoard. His Bulletin Board was called "FlightLine" and he ran it for almost 10 years when the internet took over. This bulletin board was the third largest in the United States. Robert had setup this bulletinboard to use a network called FidoNet. FidoNet consisted of approximately 70,000 systems world-wide which comprised a network which exchanged mail and files via Modems using a proprietary protocol. They were connected for the purposes of exchanging E-Mail and files to other systems thru a series of gateways which interacted with each other via UUCP.
Back in 1990 Mr. Orsino bought a Kawasaki Vulcan Classic motorcycle and could not find alot of information on the internet for this brand of motorcycle. So, Robert started an internet forum for riders of this type of motorcycle which quickly went worldwide. Little did he know how big this Internet Forum would become! To date there are approximately 200,000 members of this forum worldwide and in a bit over 8 years had an historic One Millionth message posted! Robert had administered this forum by himself for the first 7 years and finally it got so big that he has assistant moderators to help administer this forum who are located around the world. This forum is now the SEVENTH largest motorcycle forum on the internet! P.S. here is a link to the very first message that Robert posted over 18 years ago on 6/3/1999.

A long time ago, Mr. Orsino picked up his love of woodworking, working around the house with his father while growing up. As he was growing up he was constantly helping his father build decks, sheds, finish basements, and remodel parts of the house. Robert also volunteered to help out friends and neighbors with their remodeling work. Since then, Robert has taken to making Pens and Pencils out of Exotic woods, plastics, corian and other material. The pen he makes varies from ballpoint to Rollerball and very high end fountain pens. Along with this Mr. Orsino creates quite a few objects and gift through the scroll sawing part called Fretwork. Fretwork is very meticulous and time consuming and one needs nerves of steel and the patience of a saint to create some of the projects Robert creates. Some of his creations entail drilling hundreds of small (the size of a hair) holes, then taking a scrollsaw blade, feeding it through each and every hole, cutting out the part, then releasing the blade and threading it into the next hole.
Robert has a network at home where he is running quite a few Operating Systems. He is running Windows Server 2012/2008, Windows 10/7 and Vista, Ubuntu Linux Server and Redhat Fedora Server. His network consists of servers, workstations and laptops, hardwired and wireless. Mr. Orsino got interested in Microsoft SharePoint over 10 years ago when it was called "SharePoint Team Server". He is so into SharePoint that he now runs SharePoint 2010 and 2013 at home using Hyper-V, and uses SharePoint Designer, a tool which allows one to create, design, customize and maintain SharePoint websites, web parts, reports etc., as well as his own SharePoint Online subscription
